Personal Photographs.

My love affair with photography developed very organically. So I take my camera almost everywhere I go. You may think my family & close friends are lucky to have me! And while I guess they are, like most creative types I can be highly a neurotic, sensitive & an all around overwhelming basket case. In my free time, I also regularly enjoy procrastinating. So while I take lovely images of my Beloveds at various holidays, family gatherings & vacations we take together, I am notorious for taking exceptionally long to get their photos back to them. Like, 6 months. That's the sort of long time we are talking about here. Which actually really isn't all that terrible, considering that I hold my own personal family photos hostage on my external hard drive for over a year, on average.

So I've been diligently working towards trying to make an effort to finish some photos for the people I love, cherish & admire the most. Here are some of my fave's!

Erin & Dominic's Wedding. Lake Tahoe. September 2013 (Yikes)

Erin is more like my sister than my cousin. I am an only child & so I don't have any siblings to speak of, but I used to spend summers with my Uncle Ron & Auntie Wanda & their four children. Erin & Erika were the closest to me in age & we were The Three Musketeers. (Errr, sort of.)

 Erin asked me to be in her wedding so I did not have my camera for a majority of the day. But I did sneak a couple in here and there.

From the wedding day...

L O V E !

 This is Erin's sister, Erika & her fiance Greg. Whose wedding I am thrilled to be photographing in Yosemite in just a few months! Eeeeppp! It's going to be majorly amazing. I totally cannot wait.

I will also be photographing Josh & Therese's wedding at Kohl Mansion in Burlingame in a few months as well! Yay!

I promised myself that if I was going to schlep my cumbersome camera bag all the way to the top or Vernal Falls, then I was NOT going to procrastinate on these photos. And I didn't! Yay me.

These are from last Summer. (Oops.)

This is one of my best friends, Sarah. We went to visit & we stayed with her for a couple days. She was lounging on the bed with my daughter, her daughter & Bentley the dog. My camera was close so I grabbed it.

More Holiday Goodness...

 

 My Uncle is a total goof.

 He has been waiting and waiting and waiting for some of the girls to grow up and find respectable men who can do all the leg work so he can kick back and relax a little!

Anyways, this was fun! I'll have to do it again soon.
